Porch de Salomon is an independent, non-denominational, 501 c3 (tax deductible charity) organization. We are not guaranteed support by any association or convention of churches. We depend on the voluntary support of local churches and individual donors.

Lloyd and Melanie Monroe serve as full-time, volunteer missionaries for Porch without salary as do other volunteers such as Dave Burns and Jen Abreu. God has provided and allowed us to bring high-impact, low-overhead relief, service and outreach in Guatemala since 2005.

Porch de Salomon is operated by faith--faith that God will provide the needed financial support through you and others like you; faith that seekers and followers of Christ will volunteer for service through Porch de Salomon; faith that the harvest fields now open will remain open and that God will open new avenues of service (I Corinthians 16:9); and faith that our leadership and volunteers will ever seek the mind of Christ.

Our volunteer treasurer is Fred Thomson, C.P.A., and our volunteer tax advisor is Rich Blankenship, C.P.A., J.D.
